During National Alpaca Week, 2-10 May 2009, alpaca farms all over the Southern NSW Region will be opening their farm gates to the public. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone considering owning alpacas, or just wanting to learn more, to get up close and personal with these extraordinary animals.
Listed below are the farms in the Region which are open to the public during National Alpaca Week. If you would like further information or detailed directions to any particular property, please contact the owners. You may also like to take a look at the individual farms web sites for further information on alpacas and other products for sale or services provided.
National Alpaca Week will culminate with the Annual 'EPIC Alpaca Weekend' which will be held at the Fitzroy Pavilion at Exhibition Park in Canberra on the weekend of 9-10 May. This is the perfect opportunity to make contact with over 50 alpaca breeders all under the one roof.
